It's not about Islam. It's not about Judaism. It's about Religion!

Every now and then, a Muslim cleric (typically in Saudi Arabia or Egypt or Iran) issues a fatwa somewhere in the Middle East advocating for an idea or a policy most normal human beings would consider inhuman or racist or from the realm of the irrational of the fantastic. And generally in the West, such fatwas or opinions are viewed - deservedly - with utter shock. For example, some senile sheikh from Iran issued a fatwa last week saying that Iranians could not own cats and dogs because the latter are "unclean". Apparently, God told the fucking Prophet Mohammad that some animals are "unclean" and that it is sinful to own them, befriend them, touch them, or eat them.... As a result, people conclude that Islam is intrinsically bad or evil because it is behind this sort of thing.

But, Christian and Jewish clerics are no less guilty of such pronouncements. An Israeli rabbi yesterday declared while praying to the same God of the Muslims that "Palestinians should perish from earth, and that God should strike the Palestinians and their leader with a plague."   "Abu Mazen [Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas] and all these evil people should perish from this earth," said Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, spiritual head of the religious Shas party, in his weekly address to the faithful excerpts of which were broadcast on Israeli radio on Sunday.

American Protestant leaders and Vatican Catholic senior clergy also make pronouncements of apocalyptic nature - inspired by the word of God no less - to the effect, for example, that AIDS was God's punishment to gays, or that natural disasters or terrorist bombings are often God's punishment to certain groups of people. For example, after the attacks of September 11, 2001, Protestant leader Jerry Falwell said: "I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People for the American Way, all of them who have tried to secularize America, I point the finger in their face and say 'you helped this happen.'" Falwell further stated that the September 11 attacks were "probably deserved." In my opinion, such appallingly stupid and bigoted statements are no different from statements made every day by Muslim clerics.

The point is that it is not Islam, or Judaism or Christianity as such that are the problem. The problem is Religion and all the stupid people who choose to believe them. All these religions are based on books written thousands of years ago by senile old men, and still considered by many educated people in this 21st century as the "word of God". How can anyone living today still believe in Eve being born out of some mud or from Adam's liver, or Moses splitting the Red Sea so his "Chosen people" riffraff could escape Pharaoh's army, or in God giving the Promised Land to the Hebrews which entitled Joshua to commit mass slaughter on the local inhabitants of the area, or God's impregnating a virgin called Mary without actually fucking her (but delivering His sperm through the intercession of an angel!) then Mary giving birth (ans still remain a virgin) to a son who died and rose from the dead, or God "telling" Abraham and Moses and Jesus all those stories about sleeping with their 100-year old maids and concubines, splitting oceans, slaughtering their sons on mountaintops, waking the dead, chasing demons, rising from the dead, or ascending to Heaven on a winged horse... all those stories were apparently caused by poor innocent us humans whose sin was to sit around naked in a nice garden, have sex under a tree and eat an apple while a snake was watching....  Are these the stories that billions of people today still choose to believe and live their lives on their basis? It is simply insane.

Arab Civilization at its Best in the Arab Cesspool called Dubai

THIS IS HOW ARABS TREAT PREGNANT WOMEN. And we thought only barbaric Taliban do this sort of things. But, no, this happened in the supposedly "civilized" glitzy fucking cheap stinking Arab United Arab Emirates where Al-Jazeera is headquartered....

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thursday 26 Aug, 2010
A HEAVILY pregnant woman who was battered by thugs in a restaurant for refusing to give up her seat has said she feared she would lose her baby.
A trio of men in local dress rained down blows on the 33-year-old and her husband in Festival City’s Ikea cafe, leaving her with a fractured foot, broken jaw and the nail of her big toe ripped off.
She was seven months pregnant at the time. The woman, who has lived in Dubai with her husband for five years, has spoken out after a man appeared in court this week in connection with the assault.
She said: “It took doctors 20 minutes to find my baby’s heartbeat. It was the single worst time of my life. I thought I was going to lose her.
“When I was punched I had fallen on my stomach. The doctor told me the position of my placenta saved our baby, it was in front of her so when I fell, she was protected.”
The woman, who has asked not to be named, and her 37-year-old husband had been shopping and stopped for lunch in the store’s eaterie. They sat at a 12-seater table to eat their food.
They claim they were approached by an older Arabic man and two others, who demanded their seats. The husband said: “There were a couple of kids at one end of the table when we sat down but there was plenty of room.
But he said it was his table and we had to move.
“We were just finishing and I explained that my wife was pregnant and we’d be done soon. I was trying to keep the
situation calm.”
Staff cleared another table for the men and their family, but they refused to sit at it. The couple claim the oldest defendant shouted: “When I tell you to move, you move” and the husband was then hit on the back of the head, knocking him to the floor.
“When I regained consciousness, my wife was being attacked,” he said. “To see her like that and not being able to
do anything was shocking.”
The woman says she was punched to the ground as she tried to help her husband. She said one of the men then grabbed a stool and was going to hit her husband with it.
Again, she tried to intervene and was pushed to the ground, fracturing her foot.

Witnesses told police about 100 people and three security men saw the incident at Ikea (pictured) last June.
The woman’s husband said: “There are all sorts of terrible things that happen in the world - but I thought one of the few sacred things left was that you do not hit a pregnant woman.”
On Monday, a 52-year-old Emirati appeared at Dubai Court of First Instance, where he denied assault. Two other men - also Emirati and aged 43 and 33 - failed to attend the hearing, which was adjourned.

The Final Battle Has Begun: Hezbollah to the Slaughterhouse!

That's it... The trigger for the Second Lebanese Civil War started today. Hezbollah has not learned any of the lessons of the Lebanese Wars since 1970, primarily that no party, no sect, no militia, no group can monopolize political and security life in Lebanon.

With missiles or with car bombs, Hezbollah has spent all its capital with the Lebanese people, and the anti-Hezbollah Intifada has begun.

Hezbollah has killed thousands of Lebanese in south Lebanon in its murderous wars since 1982.
It has killed thousands of Palestinians in the wars it fought against the Palestinian camps in the mid-1980s.
It has kidnapped and held hostage innocent foreigners (teachers, clergymen, diplomats....), hijacked planes (TWA 847), truck-bombed peacekeeping forces (US Marines and French paratroopers compounds in Beirut in 1983), started many wars against Israel only to let the entire Lebanese population bear the brunt of Israeli reprisals, worked with the Syrian occupation to kidnap thousands of innocent Lebanese civilians who are still rotting in Syrian prisons to this day, imported weapons from Iran and turned the Lebanese south into the only Arab front against Israel.....

Hezbollah and Hassan Nasrallah are traitors and agents of foreign countries. The Lebanese people have had enough.

And now Hezbollah, we are about to learn from the highest and most respected judicial authority in the world - the International Special Tribunal for Lebanon - is the organization that planned and carried out the assassination of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri in 2005.

What credibility is there left to this monster in the Lebanese midst? None.

We call on all countries - including Israel - to join in the bloodbath to rid Lebanon from Hezbollah.

Yesterday's skirmishes are between Hezbollah and a pro-Syrian Islamic organization. The message? By beating up on Hezbollah, Bashar Al-Asad of Syria is signaling he is out of the Iranian-Hezbollah alliance, and seeing the Palestinians ready to talk to Israel in a couple of weeks, he wants to make sure he is not left out hanging dry... He desperately wants the Golan back, and he will sell Hezbollah and Iran - and Palestine - to get the Golan.

So bye bye Hassan.....

Let the show begin.

Why Should Lebanon be a Garbage Dumping Ground? Why should the Iraqi Shiite Scumbag Muqtada Al-Sadr Move to Beirut?

Yes, as the garbage dump of the region, Lebanon continues to welcome all the filthy scumbags of Arab and Islamic countries, that even their own countries don't want.

Yes, we had all the filthy scumbags of the Palestinians, the PLO, the PFLP, the Syrian Arabs, Al-Qaeda, and many many others of ill repute, and of criminal and terrorist infamy, pouring into Lebanon over the past two decades, starting wars, opening militia and terrorist shops that end up killing Lebanese people and Lebanese army soldiers, and destroying the country.

Now, after the bag of dirt Moussa Al-Sadr, who came to Lebanon from Iran in the 1970s, and founded the Amal Movement, led today by Lebanese Parliament Speaker Scumbag-in-Chief Nabih Berri, and "disappeared" in Libya in 1978, today we have another pile of religious Shiite shit called Muqtada Al-Sadr who wants to come to Lebanon to be with his murderous ilk Hassan Nasrallah, the killer of Rafik Hariri and about two dozen Lebanese politicians and journalists. He too wants to liberate Palestine from South Lebanon! As if we did not enough "liberators" and resistors"....

Why do the Lebanese allow such riffraff to come and settle in Lebanon? No one knows. As if we did not have enough dirt and garbage with weapons in the tiny tormented country, that we must also import Iraqi militia trash, with a flavor of divinely-inspired religious crap to boot.

Where is the fucking Lebanese government to ask some questions before issuing a visa to this numskull criminal to come and settle in Lebanon and start his own terrorist militia shop?

Report: Sadr Owns Real Estate in Beirut, Doesn't Want to be Nasrallah's Guest
Radical Iraqi Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr hopes to return to Najaf but is planning to move from Iran to Lebanon after he was frustrated over pressure from Tehran to accept a second term for incumbent Prime Minister Nouri Maliki, Iraqi sources confirmed to pan-Arab daily Asharq al-Awsat.
The sources said that Sadr has offices and real estate in Beirut. "They are ready to welcome him whenever he decides," they told the newspaper.
They even said that Sadr has a house in Beirut, without specifying whether it was a private villa or an apartment. The cleric visits Beirut from time to time away from the media spotlight, the sources told Asharq al-Awsat.
They ruled out that Sadr would be Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's guest or reside in southern Lebanon.
Sadr has made it clear to the Iranian leadership that there was no turning back from his decision to oppose Maliki's second term in office.

Former Iraqi Premier Iyad Allawi and Maliki have been locked in a tussle over who has the right to form the next government. Talks on working together began after Maliki failed to overcome resistance among many of his Shiite allies to his ambitions for a second term.

Teach your Children Well: What is the Arab World, Mommy?

In my experience as a Lebanese citizen who lived through the entire war from the early 1970s till today, I have learned many things. But the one thing that is seared in my mind is the fallacy of notions such as the Muslim Umma, or the Arab World.... both false constructs that do not reflect the reality of the human condition.

The Muslim Umma is based strictly on a religious factor that supposedly unifies more than a billion people who otherwise differ in their languages, their customs, their races, their traditions, their histories, etc. The religion of Islam was imposed on all those people by force in a War of Conquest - Al-Fatah Al-Islami -  not unlike the Spanish Conquista of the Latin American continent.

The Arab World is a phony political construct that is strictly based on the language factor, whereby millions of people of various backgrounds, races, histories, languages, religions, geographies, traditions, and customs are supposed to feel united to one another because they share a common language that was imposed on them by a tribe from Mecca around the 7th century.

Though they speak different forms of Spanish, do all the Latin Americans feel as Spaniards because they all speak the language of the Spanish Empire that imposed that language on all of them by force? Do we call them Spaniards? Do we refer to a "Spanish World" as a political entity as we do the "Arab World", presumably united in their Catholicism as the Arabs are supposedly united in their Islamic religion? NO. We don't, but somehow the world agrees to the false construct of the Arab World.

Though they speak different forms of English, do we refer to the British Commonwealth as the "English World", and do we call people from Nigeria, India, the US, Canada, the British Isles, Australia.... as "Englishmen" because they all speak the language of the colonial British Empire? Is there an "English World" political entity that supposedly shares brotherhood and unity of destiny and fate? NO, we don't, but somehow the world condones the false notion of an Arab World and represses any attempts at self-determination by the peoples and countries who are lumped in that construct. Dare you try to organize the Lebanese language into its own, define its grammatical and syntactic rules, and use it and teach it as a respectable language. You will be branded a "self-hating" Arab, by Western liberals no less, let alone by the Islamo-Fascists. Dare the Berbers of Algeria elevate their Amazigh language to the level of a recognized and respected language, lest they be shunned and ostracized by the "Arab Algerians" (who can barely speak Arabic themselves) as traitors of the "Arab Cause".

Though they speak different forms of German, do we refer to Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Holland, Poland and the Scandinavian countries as the "German World"? No, we don't. But Hitler did, and he tried to force them into a union, but he failed.

Though they speak different forms of Russian, do we lump the Mongolians, the Russians, the Kazakhs, the Uzbeks, the Tajiks, and many others into a "Russian World" political construct? No, we don't, but the Soviet Union did and tried, but failed.

But somehow, the world and the international community has fallen victim to the Islamo-Fascists and Arab Ultra-Nationalists and accept the notion of an "Arab World" and the associated mythology that this "Arab World" was once a united happy Arabia Felix (under various bloody wars of conquest by Arabs sometimes, but more often than not by Turks, Mameluks, Mongols, and others), but then was dismembered by the French and the English after World War I.

Somehow, the Arab Fascists are allowed what all the other Fascist systems were denied: To impose order from above, by force, on a multitude of peoples and ethnicities and religions and languages. Time has come to begin the process of disenfranchising all these peoples from the yoke of their "Arab identiy" imposed on them by a Fascist Islam and by Fascist Arabs from the Arabian Peninsula.

Like the Europe of the Middle Ages, where one religion  - Catholicism - and one language - Latin - were the official religion and language of the elites (monarchs, nobility, clergy, the military), and everyone else was subjected to the Inquisition if they dared pray in their own language or liberate themselves from any of the impositions of that system, today's "Arab World" is much the same program: Elites (religious, business, feudal families) who use Koranic Standard Arabic to control the political destinies of millions of people, while denying the evolution of the vernacular languages (like Lebanese, Moroccan, Iraqi, Kurdish, Berber, etc...) into full-fledged and officially recognized and respected languages; where having a religion other than Islam - or having no religion at all - is considered a crime.

The "Arab World" is a construct imposed from the top down, and these constructs never work. Instead of allowing each group (local countries, ethnic groups, religions, linguistic groups, etc.) to develop autonomously and evolve on their own, everyone in the "Arab World" is forced to remain trapped in a rigid definition of their identities that is traced back to the 7th century.

Just compare the "Arab World" with Europe: In the "Arab World", the only two countries that are either completely rejected (Israel; because of its Jewish religion) or partially rejected (Lebanon; because of it is partially Christian and ethnically non-Arab) have been at war since their births in the 1940s, constantly fighting for their survival which is based on their unique identities. Others did not succeed in forming countries (Kurdistan, the Berbers of North Africa) and live repressed inside "Arab" countries.

In Europe, in contrast, most smaller entities (Luxembourg, Monaco, Lichtenstein, Andorra, etc...) - though not all (like Corsica and others) have been allowed  to thrive and are not constantly threatened to be wiped off the map. Instead, they are considered full-fledged members of the European Union, a union that was formed from the bottom up, and not from the top down.

The "Arab World" is fake. We should dispense with it.

Hezbollah Runs Lebanese Army

Did you know that out of the monthly salary of every soldier in the Lebanese Army, a 7% tax is levied that goes straight into Hezbollah's coffers? This is supposedly to compensate Hezbollah for fighting "in lieu" of the Lebanese army in "defending Lebanon and resisting against Israel"?

Did you know that Lebanese Army salaries are in large part paid by "donor nations" like the US, France, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the EU, etc. who have kept Lebanon artificially alive for the past 20 years by pumping money into the failed country of Lebanon?

Did you know that Lebanon's GDP of $30 billion is about half the national debt of $60 billlion which was incurred by Rafik Hariri who "lent" all that money to the Lebanese government from his own money by stealing half the real estate in downtown Beirut at pitiful prices from its rightful owners?

Did the US not know that large fractions of the money that it has been doling out to the Lebanon were going to Hezbollah indirectly? For example, the US government gives the Lebanese government subsidies to shore up its decrepit infrastructure like electricity. However, a good chunk of that money ends up largely pilfered by the massively corrupt Lebanese government and administration, including Hezbollah ministers and operatives. Also, supposedly because Hezbollah is "defending" Lebanon, all Shiite territories and enclaves occupied by Hezbollah and to which the Lebanese government is denied access steal electricity from the national grid and do not pay any bills - that's about 30% of the Lebanese population. This is the primary reason why the LEbanese government has been unable to restore the electric service to 24-7 since 1990, and why electricity is still rationed to 8 hours a day.

Does the US not know that the Syria it called a "factor of stability" in Lebanon for 30 years (from 1973 to 2003, when Colin Powell was the first US official to refer to the Syrian occupation as "occupation" when for the previous 30 years all US officials called it "presence") is by far the single reason why there is no peace in the Middle East today?

How can the US be surprised all of a sudden that Hezbollah has been the indirect recipient of US Aid for decades through money shunted by the Lebanese government to Hezbollah or stolen by Hezbollah and their Amal leader ally, Nabih Berri?

In my own visits to Lebanon, I have spoken to senior Lebanese Army officials and others who tell me there is nothing they can do about Hezbollah's control of the Army and its usurpation of the power and authority that should the Army's alone. Hezbollah';s control and domination of Lebanon are a political decision made by the supposedly US allies in Lebanon, the likes of Saad Hariri, Amine Gemayel, Samir Geagea, Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, etc.... All the leaders of the pro-US "March 14" organization are in bed with Hezbollah, they sit in the same Parliament with Hezbollah, and they sit on the same government with Hezbollah, and they chant Hezbollah's "resistance" and "defense" and "bravery" every day, going so far as welcoming Hezbollah's murderers and criminals and terrorists on red carpets.

How can the US be surprised that, by helping the traditionalists in the Lebanese political establishment - those feudal and religious leaders who ran the war and destroyed their own country - they are helping unprincipled merchants of war and blood who would switch political positions every day to suit their own selfish narrow interests - Just look at Saad Hariri who went three times already to Damascus knowing that the criminal Bashar Asad killed his own father. Just look at the traitor Michel Aoun who spent 15 years begging the Americans to help him against Syria, working with  the "Zionist" Eliot Engel no less to pass the Syria Accountability Act, and now he is Hezbollah's and Syria's best ally in Lebanon. Just look at Walid Jumblatt, the stalwart "anti-Syrian" of the 2005-2009 period, whose father the Syrians also killed, and who is now Syria's top poodle who goes to Damascus every week, then returns to Beirut to inject Syria's poisons and throw poisoned bones to the Lebanese politician dogs....

This is the Lebanon that the US has built - no pun intended, since one can equally say, the Lebanon it destroyed over many decades by cavorting to dictators in Syria - and so Howard Berman and other congressmen should not be surprised. They should recognize their own mistakes. Syria is the culprit in all of this, and the US has long supported Syria's destructive role in the Middle East. Time to focus on Syria, and leave Lebanon alone.

Lebanese Army a Long Time Pawn in Hezbollah's Hands

The US appears surprised by the "news" that the Lebanese Army coordinates with Hezbollah, but that is pure hypocrisy by the Americans.

- For 40 years, all of Lebanon was under the Syrian Gulag, thanks to US policy that called Syria's occupation of Lebanon "a factor of stability". Yes, Syria was in cahoots with the US to start fires in Lebanon, then turn around and pretend to "stabilize" the situation. For 40 years. All it would have taken to end the charade would have been a couple of well targeted bombs over Damascus and the filthy dog Asad would have been begging for mercy. But no, the idiot Bush decided to invade Iraq! If Bush had invaded Syria instead, we would have peace in the Middle East today.

- For 40 years, the US knew that Syria was arming, training and funding a horde of terror groups, beginning with the PLO and ending today with Hezbollah and Hamas.

Yet the US has always, and continues to this day, to treat Syria and the Baath regime of the Asads with the greatest courtesy and respect, even though Syria is the only remaining obstacle to peace with Israel and the Middle East. Take the Syrian regime out of the picture in the Middle East and the entire Middle East conflict is over in 24 hours. Hezbollah would be finished (since Syria is the umbilical cord linking Iran to Hezbollah). Hamas would be finished. Lebanon would sign a peace treaty with Israel the very next day.

But, no, US and Israeli policy has always been to punish the victim - Lebanon - for the crimes of its executioner - Syria.

If all the bombs, raids, and invasions that were rained on Lebanon over the past 40 years were directed at the Syrian regime, we would not be having this discussion today. Hamas and Hezbollah would not even exist.

Now is the turn of the Lebanese army. The US is "surprised" that the miserable and pathetic Lebanese army is under the control of Hezbollah and Syria! Where have US foreign policymakers been all these years? Why did they think Lebanese President Michel Bozo Suleiman and Primer Minister Jackass Saad Hariri continue to express support for the "resistance" and declare their enmity towards Israel - and their love for Syria - day in and day out, yet receive visits by high-ranking US officials expressing support for Lebanon?

Something is fishy in the US foreign policy on Lebanon... and that fishy thing is that the US and Israel treat Syria with respect - despite is terrorist history and its obstruction of peace in the Middle East - because Syria will deliver the Palestinian card to Israel and will rescue Israel from the "Right of Return" of millions of Palestinian refugees to Israel.
